FAQs

  • What are your rates?

Evolv Psychiatry & Wellness is a self-pay practice with transparent, straightforward pricing — please see our services page for current rates. Superbills are available upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

A valid credit card is required on file at the time of scheduling.

  • Do you accept insurance?

We are a self-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide Superbills upon request — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend calling the member services number on your insurance card and asking about your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first appointment.

  • What is a Superbill?

A Superbill is an itemized receipt that includes your diagnosis code, treatment codes, and provider information. You can submit it directly to your insurance company to request partial reimbursement for out-of-network services. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your specific plan.

  • What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers must give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of expected charges. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

  • Do you offer in-person appointments?

Yes. In-person visits are currently available during the week. For initial evaluations, in-person is recommended, but virtual is available if needed.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged a $100 fee, which is not reimbursable through insurance. This fee must be paid before future appointments can be scheduled.

  • What is the difference between Health & Wellness Coaching and Medication Management?

Psychiatric medication management focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions through evidence-based medicine, which may include prescribing and adjusting medications.

Health and Wellness Coaching takes a broader, holistic approach — exploring lifestyle factors, habits, and overall wellbeing alongside or independent of medication. This may include lab diagnostics, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, and personalized wellness planning. Coaching sessions are self-pay only.

  • When will I see results?

Results vary from person to person and depend on several factors we'll discuss during your initial evaluation. Some patients notice improvement within a few weeks, while others may take longer as we work together to find the right approach. What we commit to is staying responsive, adjusting your plan as needed, and never leaving you without support.

  • What if I'm in crisis?

Evolv Psychiatry & Wellness does not provide 24-hour emergency services. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) anytime.
